डबल इंजन सरकार — यह शब्द आज उत्तर प्रदेश के विकास की उस गति का पर्याय बन चुका है, जिसने प्रदेश की पहचान बदल दी है। केंद्र में माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी जी और प्रदेश में माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री योगी आदित्यनाथ जी के नेतृत्व में एक ही विचारधारा, एक ही संकल्प और एक ही दिशा में कार्य करने वाली दो सरकारें जब मिलकर चलती हैं, तो उसका सीधा लाभ जनता तक पहुँचता है। यही डबल इंजन सरकार की वास्तविक शक्ति है।
एक्सप्रेस-वे एवं इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर के क्षेत्र में उत्तर प्रदेश ने उल्लेखनीय प्रगति की है। गंगा एक्सप्रेसवे, जो मेरठ से प्रयागराज तक लगभग 594 किलोमीटर लंबा है, का उद्घाटन 29 अप्रैल 2026 को माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी द्वारा किया गया। हाल ही में प्रदेश मंत्रिमंडल ने इसे हरिद्वार तक विस्तारित करने की स्वीकृति भी प्रदान की है। आगरा-लखनऊ एक्सप्रेसवे सहित प्रदेश का विस्तृत एक्सप्रेस-वे नेटवर्क अब पूर्वांचल से पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश तक आवागमन को सुगम बना रहा है।
आधुनिक परिवहन के क्षेत्र में मेट्रो एवं सार्वजनिक परिवहन सुविधाओं का विस्तार नगरों के जीवन को सुविधाजनक बना रहा है। औद्योगिक विकास की दिशा में निवेश एवं उद्यमिता को प्रोत्साहन देकर प्रदेश में रोजगार के नए अवसर सृजित करने के प्रयास निरंतर जारी हैं।
कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण डबल इंजन सरकार की प्राथमिकताओं में सर्वोपरि रहा है। किसान मोर्चा में वर्षों तक कार्य करने के अनुभव के आधार पर मैं कह सकता हूँ कि अन्नदाता किसानों के हित में लिए गए निर्णयों ने ग्रामीण जीवन को नई दिशा दी है।
शिक्षा एवं कौशल विकास के माध्यम से युवाओं को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने, स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं के विस्तार से प्रत्येक नागरिक तक उपचार पहुँचाने, तथा कानून व्यवस्था एवं सुरक्षा को सुदृढ़ करके प्रदेश में भय-मुक्त वातावरण निर्मित करने की दिशा में कार्य हुआ है। महिला सशक्तिकरण के क्षेत्र में बहनों-बेटियों की सुरक्षा एवं स्वावलंबन को विशेष महत्व दिया गया है।
पर्यटन एवं संस्कृति के क्षेत्र में उत्तर प्रदेश की समृद्ध विरासत को नई पहचान मिली है। ताजनगरी आगरा एवं ब्रज क्षेत्र के लिए यह विशेष रूप से महत्वपूर्ण है, क्योंकि पर्यटन का विकास सीधे स्थानीय रोजगार एवं व्यापार से जुड़ा है।
आगरा जनपद के जिला उपाध्यक्ष के रूप में मेरा संकल्प है कि इन योजनाओं का लाभ जनपद के अंतिम व्यक्ति तक पहुँचे। संगठन का कार्यकर्ता जब जनता और सरकार के बीच सेतु बनता है, तभी विकास का अर्थ सार्थक होता है।

"Double Engine Sarkar" has become shorthand for the pace of development in Uttar Pradesh. With Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi leading at the Centre and Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath leading the state, two governments working with the same ideology, the same resolve and in the same direction deliver benefits directly to the people. That is the real strength of a double engine government.
In expressways and infrastructure, Uttar Pradesh has made notable progress. The Ganga Expressway, running roughly 594 kilometres from Meerut to Prayagraj, was inaugurated by the Prime Minister on 29 April 2026, and the state cabinet has since approved its extension to Haridwar. Together with the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, the state's expressway network is making travel easier from eastern to western Uttar Pradesh.
Work has also advanced across modern transport and metro connectivity, industrial development and employment generation, agriculture and farmer welfare, education and skill development for youth, expansion of health facilities, strengthening of law and order, women's empowerment, and tourism and culture. For Agra and the Braj region, tourism development matters especially, since it is directly linked to local employment and trade.
Santosh Sikarwar, District Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party, Agra, who has served for years in the Kisan Morcha, says his resolve is to ensure these schemes reach the last person in the district — because development becomes meaningful only when the party worker acts as a bridge between the people and the government.
